A digital voucher is an electronic version of your gift voucher, delivered instantly by email after purchase. It’s fast, convenient, and perfect for last-minute gifts.

A Gift Box is a beautifully printed version of the voucher, packed in a stylish presentation box and delivered across South Africa. It includes a printed voucher and a short guide on booking and what to expect.
It’s more expensive due to packaging and shipping costs, but ideal if you want to give a physical, impressive gift.
When you purchase a Gift Voucher, the difference between a digital and physical version depends on the delivery and packaging options:
• If delivery and packaging are selected → you’ll receive a Gift Box (physical version).
• If delivery and packaging are removed → you’ll receive a digital version (sent by email).
Both versions include the same experience — only the presentation differs.
All our gift vouchers are valid for 9 months from the date of purchase. The recipient has plenty of time to choose the perfect moment for their adventure. The expiry date will be clearly stated on the voucher.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. However, if the recipient wants to use the voucher for a different experience or upgrade to a different package, we’re happy to help adjust the booking — just contact our team in advance.
Yes! Our gift vouchers are fully transferable. If you’re unable to use it yourself, you can give it to a friend or family member. Just make sure they bring the voucher with them (either printed or on their phone) when they arrive.
If you lose your gift voucher, don’t worry! Just contact us as soon as possible with the details of your purchase (such as the name or email used). We’ll help you recover the voucher or resend the information to ensure you don’t miss out on your experience.
If you need to reschedule your booking, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to adjust your booking without affecting the voucher’s validity. If you do not notify us within 24 hours, the voucher may be considered used, and rescheduling may not be possible.
Yes, you can upgrade your experience! If you’d like to add extra time or upgrade to a more advanced package, you can do so by paying the difference at the time of your visit. Simply show your gift voucher and let our team know that you’d like to upgrade.
To book your experience, go to thedp.co.za/bookly, select your preferred activity, date, and time, and choose “Pay on Visit” at checkout.
During checkout, please include the voucher number in the “Message Field” to confirm your payment method. On the day of your visit, simply show your gift voucher — either printed or on your phone.
Our gift vouchers are valid for 9 months from the date of purchase. If the voucher expires before you’ve used it, please contact us to discuss your options. In some cases, we may be able to extend the voucher or offer an alternative solution.

I loved the surf wave simulator! I’ve always wanted to try surfing, and this was the perfect introduction. The instructors were patient and encouraging, and I had a blast!
